Day 1: Tangier – Rabat guided Tour
Whether you arrive by ferry or plane in Tangier, you will find our Moroccan driver there waiting to greet you and take you for the 4 Days Tour from Tangier. You will drive to Rabat, an old imperial capital with domes and minarets, expansive terraces, wide avenues, and green spaces. You pass through Larache, a town on the Atlantic coast that is both Andalusian and Arab. When you arrive in Rabat, you will be taken on a guided tour of the city’s top sights. We will visit the charming Oudaya Kasbah, and explore the Medina, which houses the city’s souks, surrounded by Almohad ramparts and the Andalusian Wall from the 17th century. Continue your tour to the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Challah Necropolis, where Roman and Islamic ruins coexist side by side, whispering countless tales from centuries past.
Day 2: Rabat – Volubilis – Fez
On the 2nd day of this 4 Days Tour from Tangier, we will leave Rabat after breakfast and travel through vast agricultural fields to Meknes, the second imperial city, to capture photos of the enormous Bab El Mansour gate. The historic medina, the Sahrij Souani stables, and the stunning royal palace are all included in the city tour of Meknes. After that, proceed to Moulay Idriss, a sacred city. Before visiting the Volubilis Berber-Roman ruins, you will have some time to rest in this lovely small city. The location of Volubilis is incredibly impressive and has been designated by UNESCO as a place of human heritage. After your visit, travel to Fes, where you will spend the night.
Day 3: Guided tour of Fez
Today, make your way to Fez el Bali, the city’s old town. One of the premier centers for Islamic and Jewish culture and education during the Middle Ages was Fez. Its mosques enjoy widespread acclaim, and its religious institutions and libraries are legendary. Your guide will tell you tales about the city’s past as you stroll through the narrow lanes and winding streets, past donkeys carrying heavy loads of merchandise, and discover the souk’s specialty areas. Where the sounds of hammering copper, the clucking of chickens, the aroma of spices, and old khans, madrassas, and dye pits can be heard, along with stalls selling fruits, herbs, and soups. The Al-Attarine Madrasa, the tanneries, and the magnificent Funduk Najjarine, a beautifully preserved 18th-century inn, are all worthwhile stops on a day spent exploring the old city. You will spend the last night of this 4 Days Tour from Tangier in your Riad.
Day 4: Fez – Chefchaouen – Tangier
You will pass through farmland and small villages as you make your way to Tangier before you arrive at the impressive Rif Mountains. The blue town of Chefchaouen, which derives its name from the two mountains Ech-Chaouan (the Horns), will be your first stop along the way. This charming town is made up of steep, winding streets lined with white and indigo buildings that have been lime-washed, little squares with elaborate fountains, and homes with ornately decorated doorways and red tile roofs. Lunch can be enjoyed in a quaint restaurant with a romantic view of the Ech-Chaouan Mountains. We are going to drop you off in Tangier in the afternoon. The end of the 4 Days Tour from Tangier to Fes.
