Day 1: Fez – Midelt – Todra Gorges

After eating breakfast, we will start our 4 Days tour from Fes by traveling to the Todra Gorges via Ifrane and then on to Azrou’s cedar forests, home to the wild monkeys. It will be a good chance to capture images of Morocco’s wilderness on camera. As we travel through the Atlas Mountains and take in the scenery of Medilt, we will stop for lunch in the small Berber village of Zaida before continuing to the small town of Rich. Here, we make a right turn and proceed through the well-known town of Imilchil before arriving at the Todra Gorges in the late afternoon.

Day 2: Todra Gorges – Tinjdad – Merzouga

We will make our way to Merzouga from the Todra Gorges. Along the route, there are numerous Berber villages. After passing through Tinjdad, Jarf, and Erfoud, where we will sense the start of the Tafilalet Saharan Oasis, we will continue our 4 days tour from Fes to Merzouga. We are going to Erg Chebbi to ride camels in the dunes. Imagine yourself in Erg Chebbi, a place where the silence of the desert predominates over all else, riding a camel. We will dismount the camels before arriving at the camp and proceed on foot to a tall dune to watch the sunset. There will be Berber drum music playing while dinner is served under a Berber tent.

Day 3: A Full Day Exploring the Sahara Area

This morning will be spent exploring Khamlia, a village that is located beside the dunes of Erg Chebbi. This authentic Saharan village is renowned for its unique dance and music. Today’s lunch will allow you to watch the preparation of the regional specialty dish Medfouna and then consume some for yourself. After that, it is time to travel through the desert on a camel, as the locals do, to reach your Feature Stay lodging, a stunning camp tucked away in the Saharan dunes. You can get a true sense of what it is like to live in the desert right here, in this enchanted haven from the modern world. However, despite the remote location, permanent tents come equipped with spacious beds, private bathrooms, and charming, authentic decor. Tonight, you will enjoy a traditional feast and live Gnawa music around an open fire while taking in the extraordinary surroundings of the area.

Day 4: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Fez

We will ride the camels back to Merzouga after an early sunrise, where we will have time for a shower and breakfast before heading out again. After that, we will begin our journey back to Fez. We have the chance to explore some magical sights as we pass through other locations up until Rich Town, like Ziz Valley, which is one of Morocco’s longest oases of palm trees. Additionally, we will make photo stops and stop by Berber shops to see their distinctive traditional clothing.
